A Message From the General Manager
The security products landscape is changing. Around the world companies in the utility, original equipment manufacturing and even farming sectors, are dealing with the growing need to secure their operations and assets and protect revenues. Theft of utility services is on the rise, spanning across geographies, socio-economic groups and communities, from single homes to multi-housing properties.
To address these evolving needs, we launched an ambitious program to revitalize every aspect of Highfield's operations to improve work processes, lower costs, drive innovation, and equip our employees with the tools and resources they need to help our customers succeed. As I assume the General Manager's role, I look forward to advancing our strategic focus, which remains clearly centered on you, our customers.
We have taken and will continue to take a number of steps to align our strategies with your needs for sophisticated security solutions. We have implemented Kaizen lean manufacturing processes to increase efficiencies and drive down costs. Our Voice of the Customer initiative, including quality and timeliness of service, customer delivery and other key metrics is at the heart of our efforts to increase customer satisfaction.
Enhanced Customer Service
Our dedicated inside Technical Sales team is ready to work with you to provide technical support and consult on product and application requirements. For those of you who have specialized security needs, our Engineering Team is available to assess and design customized applications. We have expanded our Direct Sales Engineering team to provide regional support, where and when it is needed. Our enhanced Customer Service operation continues to provide timely, efficient – and always courteous -- order processing.
New Markets, New Products
Changing needs create new opportunities. Our new product designs will be uniquely suited to protect our customers' investment in Smart Grid technologies, while insuring the highest standards of safety and energy conservation. We are also positioning ourselves to meet the needs of emerging markets around the world.
We are proud of what we have achieved under my predecessor Joe McClain's leadership. We will continue to work with him on the plans we have set in motion, as he takes on additional responsibilities with our parent company, Rexnord.
