A Message From the General Manager
The security products landscape is changing. Around the world companies in the utility, original equipment manufacturing and even farming sectors, are dealing with the growing need to secure their operations and assets and protect revenues. Theft of utility services is on the rise, spanning across geographies, socio-economic groups and communities, from single homes to multi-housing properties.
To keep pace with this trend, Highfield is undergoing its own transformation. We are rededicating ourselves to the security products industry by revitalizing every aspect of our operation to improve work processes, lower costs, drive innovation, and equip our employees with the tools and resources they need to help our customers succeed.
Continuous Improvement
We are taking a number of steps to align our strategies with customers’ evolving needs for sophisticated security solutions. We have implemented Kaizen lean manufacturing processes to increase efficiencies and drive down costs. Our Voice of the Customer initiative, including quality and timeliness of service, customer delivery and other metrics is at the heart of our efforts to increase customer satisfaction.
Enhanced Customer Service
We have established a dedicated inside Technical Sales team that is ready to work with customers to provide technical support and consult on product and application requirements. For those customers who have special security requirements, our Engineering Team is available to help assess needs and design customized applications. We have also expanded our Direct Sales Engineering team to provide regional support, where and when it is needed. Our enhanced Customer Service operation continues to provide timely, efficient – and always courteous -- order processing.
New Markets, New Products
As part of this process, we are introducing new products to address niche markets and re-engineering current products, positioning ourselves to meet emerging needs around the world. We will continue to work with Homeland Security, the insurance industry and Federal agencies to meet security needs.
New Corporate Look
These changes are reflected in our updated corporate identity, with a new logo, marketing materials and a tag line that captures the essence of our mission and our promise to our customers: Advancing, Safety, Security and Revenue Protection. This new website is also part of that effort.
